This past week marked 17 years since the day that my Dad left this life and went fully into the presence of our Lord. The words "Coram Deo" were written on a banner in his office. I remember seeing it as a kiddo every time I would go in and talk to him while he worked. After he passed away, my Mom had those words placed on his gravestone. It's Latin for "In the presence of God". I got this tattoo several years back and it not only reminds me of my Dad but it reminds me that all that I do is in the presence of the Lord. The good, the bad, the ugly is all seen by Jesus and He still looks at me and loves me beyond comprehension. " To live coram deo is to live one's entire life in the presence of God, under the authority of God, to the glory of God." - Spurgeon
