Lately...

It's been a long time since I've been consistently on here and I keep kicking myself for not keeping up with writing all the memories and milestones of my family, but also I've purposefully kept off social sites and the busyness of the online world to really focus on my family and the Lord. It's been so amazing. I intentionally removed all the distractions so that my heart, mind and soul could be given to what is most important. I deleted accounts and then set aside each day to give first to Jesus and then the rest of the day to my family. God did and continues to do more than I thought possible. 

"For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him." (2 Chron. 16:9)

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Heb. 11:6)

The Lord has been doing so much lately and I'm overwhelmed with gratefulness. It's felt so right to step away from the hustle and bustle of everybody else and just to embrace what is infront of me in this season of my life. Kids don't stay little for long so I want to give my kids my best as well as give the Lord and my husband my best too. The most important thing in this life is getting to the next and to be forever in the presence of the Lord and to know that our babies will be there with us. My relationship with Jesus is not only important for my life but for the lives of my family. To be an example for them and to seek the Lord daily, to put Him first, to live in obedience to God's Word and to live in a way that points back to the Lord is so important and is building a legacy that lasts through eternity. It's felt like a good cleanse for my soul. I'm just so thankful to the Lord for all He is doing.
