I woke up this morning with a flood of verses going through my mind… 

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8

How do you stay sober and vigilant in the faith? By reading, listening and knowing God’s Word.

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15

How do we know the commands well enough to keep them? By reading, listening and knowing God’s Word. 

“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:11

How do we hide God’s Word in our hearts? By reading, listening and knowing God’s Word. 

“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105

Jesus is referred to as “The Word of God” in Revelation 19:13. If we really want to know Him, then we need read the Word of God. He is the image of the Father. We have to go through Jesus to have access to the Father. 

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” John 14:6

My goal right now is getting as much of God’s Word in my mind and heart as possible and then from that, let it guide everything else I do in my home, my mothering and in my business.
