The Greatest Story Ever Told
With Good Friday and Easter here this weekend I wanted to read to you, as if I was reading to my children, the greatest story ever told, of Jesus coming, dying for our sins and being raised from the dead, conquering sin and death. It's the greatest moment in the history of the world.
Easter is so much more than the egg hunts, the easter baskets, the bunnies, the brunches and gatherings. Those tend to be distractions from the real reason we celebrate. It's about Jesus, the perfect, sinless, holy, righteous, pure, God of the everything, coming down to earth to rescue all those who put their faith in Him. We get to receive His free gift of salvation through His death on the cross.
Billy Graham video mentioned: "Are You Ready To Die" His last message he gave.

Scripture mentioned:
Luke 22-24 ESV
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
1 Corinthians 1:18 NIV
"For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
Ephesians 3:14-21 ESV
