Team letter, idols and my heart for what’s ahead

This was a letter to my team but I wanted to share it here too because I believe the Lord is building something new that is ordained by Him for His glory on my team. I want anyone that is thinking about joining me to know my perspective and heart and vision for this team. He’s calling Godly women and leaders here to accomplish more than we can even imagine but I believe that it will be through His ways and His favor and His direction and not by the “wisdom” of this world. We are to be set apart leaders, seeking the name of Jesus to be lifted up, honoring our families, seeking Jesus first and having open hands to God.

This verse was highlighted to me in my bible reading:

He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30

To my team:

I've been trying to think of what I wanted to share with you, because I feel like the Lord is teaching me so many things and there is so much I could say, but at the tippy top of everything I wanted to encourage you to press into Jesus, wholeheartedly, fully surrendered, arms and hands open, seeking Him for His desire for your life and family.

Recently I've been in a deep dive ingesting as much of God's Word as I can and it's radically changing my life in big and beautiful ways. One thing that He's brought to the surface was this business and how I had made it an idol. I'm competitive, even with just myself, and I love to achieve and win. But this business started with God and He needs to stay the center and the driver of this ship.

Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?”
Galatians 3:3

I honestly was blind to it because I still prayed and read the Bible and sought the Lord the whole time so I truly didn't see what it had become until I gave up my tight grip, surrendered with open hands and heart and told God that I give up control and want Him on the throne in every area of my life. He has not released me from this business. So what does that mean? It means that I do this in a way that keeps Him at the center. It means that He is first in my life. I'm finding Him to be more necessary in my days than even food and water right now. I just need Him. Everything else is extra. It means that I do this as unto Him. It means that I am faithful to show up, faithful to serve others, faithful to be a light, faithful to show the goodness of Jesus to whoever is watching. It means that I'm faithful to pray for this business and this team. If He is in it, He will bless it and multiply it and wants to glorify Himself in it.

I'm praying for Him to build an army of Godly, Christ-centered women to lead this team. That He would work in and through each family represented to accomplish His will. That we would be set apart for His glory and be a “city set on a hill” bringing others to know and love Jesus by how we run our businesses, how we love and serve others and how we give God all praise and worship in everything we do.

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Matthew 5:14

If God has called you to do this business, then know that He has a plan and purpose in it. If He's calling you to Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond+ then ask Him what He wants you to do with that kind of money. What is He calling you to do and how is He asking you to do it in a way that honors Him.

Walking with Jesus is the most incredible and exciting and wild adventure I've ever known. He calls us to bold faith, bold obedience, bold trust and to love Him and seek Him with all our hearts.

I'm praying for you and cheering you on!
